Leap Family!

When you take a leap of faith some people will say, I want to go with you. Others will say, no thank you I’m fine right here. Too often when others don’t want to leap with us we say nevermind, I didn’t really want to leap anyway and we keep our feet planted on the ground. We make the choice to stay and miss our opportunity to SOAR.

Take a moment to reflect on your your most recent leap of faith. Who came with you? Who understood your vision and decided to become part of it? Who were the people that said no thank you? Where are they now? One of the best pieces of advice I received, as a blogger, was that when a person unsubscribes from my blog don’t take it personally. It simply means that person is no longer a part of my story. Better for them to recognize it now so that we can part ways, at least on this journey.

Different strokes for different folks

My leap is bright red with orange swirls. Your leap might be white with black polka dots. Different colors, different patterns reflecting different goals, different dreams. That doesn’t mean that I should second-guess my leap or think it’s too bright or audacious. If I beleive that my red with orange swirls represents my future then I need to walk it out and turn off the noise of self-doubt. You should to.

Hold onto your dreams

Leaping is dreaming. Leaping is a reflection of your visiion. Leaping enables you to activate your destiny. Here are my tips for leaping.

  • Don’t let anyone stop you from leaping or soaring towards your vision
  • Don’t worry if some people don’t want to come with you
  • Don’t second guess yourself
  • Don’t change your swirls to polka dots
  • Hold onto your vision
  • Take a deep breath…inhale, exhale
  • And LEAP!
