INSPIRE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
The smallest details can inspire your relationships. I enjoy watching House Hunters, House Hunters International, and Rehab Addict on HGTV. Each show has it’s own style. Whether it’s the game show element on House Hunters or the strength behind Nicole Curtis as the Little Engine that Could (based on her small physical stature and power on Rehab Addict). Each show is unique and highlights the relationships between the house hunters, their friends and family members, rehab specialists, and realtors.
The show I like most of all is Fixer Upper. I enjoy this show because of the dynamics between the hosts. The on air connection between husband and wife team Chip and Joanna Gaines is romantic, playful, and loving. At times the show cuts away from the project at hand and gives us a glimpse into their family life. In one episode they celebrated Chip’s 40th birthday. Joanna gifted him with a helicopter ride. Chip returned home that evening to dozens of people ready to continue the celebration as the sun set.
It’s All About Relationships
On the show Joanna has a keen eye for restoring homes to a new found glory for the new owners. She always appears to be concerned about how the home will compliment the family. Sometimes those families are single mothers, a mother and daughter team, or an expecting couple. Whatever the situation her design efforts are inspired by the relationship between the new owners.
I came across an inspiring video of Joanna telling her story. It reminded me of this prayer…[tweetthis]Lord help me to resist the temptation to give up before I reach my breakthrough.[/tweetthis] Joanna’s story reminds us that we’re all valuable and God has a plan for our lives. Sometimes it’s one we never see coming. Enjoy this clip, I hope it inspires you.
By the way, as a reminder this month’s registration is open for my Online Birthing Classes. You might not be having a baby, but pass it on. Share this link to my Online Birthing Classes with someone you know and help them to give their baby a healthy start.

I have been watching this clip for about a week and just love it every time! Thanks.
Isn’t it great. It’s always nice to hear the story of someone that seems like they have “made it.” It reminds you of their humanity and insecurities and that God id God for all of us.
The story of Joanna is so inspiring, and a great reminder to follow God with out passions. Sometimes they may get put on hold, but ready to come to life again all in His perfect timing! Great article!
Amen. and it reminds us to listen and be obedient.
I haven’t had a cable or TV in years. The shows you mention sound good.
They are Mary. I watch them on Netflix and when I get a cable moment. I don’t cable either, but you can find them online.
So glad you shared this video clip today. I’ve seen links to it floating around but I had not taken the time to watch it. You have no idea how timely this is for me! I’m getting ready to birth a new product (no babies for me) 🙂 and this inspires me to keep going. Thanks Tamara!
