Warrior Week
I did it. This week I earned my Superhero blue #GirlTrek t-shirt.
Even on the days I complained because I ddin’t feel like walking I hurried home to eat a sandwich in my car and laced up my kicks. Though it was hot as all get out I waited until the sun set and hit the pavement. When I knew I wouldn’t make it to night fall I braved the heat and sweat it out. Then Superhero Saturday came. While I walked by myself I knew that #GirlTrekkers everywhere were out walking with me across the country, so I picked up my stride, and skipped and danced when no one was looking. Heck who cares if they were.
Then Came Sunday
Guess what? Sunday came and I did it all over again!
