Know Thyself

As a woman, I am at a place in my life where I understand that to know my body is to trust my body and myself. Knowing our bodies is sometimes scary. Knowing our bodies requires vulnerability, intimacy with self, and an openness to change that is sometimes unwanted or unplanned.

In the case of pregnancy, labor, and birth knowing your body is one of the smartest moves you can make. Having a physical and emotional awareness and wisdom about yourself leads to a healthy body image and puts you in a place of empowered childbearing.

Move your body

Movement is an important part of creating a healthy body image. Movement in the form of dance or exercise releases healthy hormones that lift our spirit. This emotional uplifting impacts what we believe about ourselves and how we carry ourselves.

Watch my video and listen as I explain what I have learned from the women I work with, then tell me what you think.

Yours in health,

Tamara
