My Story
Brooklyn born and raised in the Bronx. My journey began in Brooklyn, and I was molded by the vibrant energy of the Bronx, embodying the rich tapestry of African-American and Caribbean heritage. I am Tamara Wrenn, and this company is a manifestation of the dreams that originated in the heart of that ambitious girl.
In my youth, my dreams were bold and vivid—a future adorned with success; brownstone-boutique-owning-Olympic-champion-wedding-dress-wearing-married-with-five-children-published-poet-self. Even as a teenager, my aspirations knew no bounds.
As the years passed, societal norms began to shape my perception of success, steering me away from those early dreams. I found myself at the crossroads of conformity and abandoning my true aspirations to align with external expectations. While I climbed the ladders of societal success, the essence of who I am—a non-conformist—remained at the core of my being.

Memories are powerful and mine restored my dreams. They ignited a renewed hope that I could achieve the ambitious goal I set as an adolescent –successfully running my own business. A place to create and live my dreams. As my life pivoted onto a new trajectory, I made a conscious decision never to look back.
Guided by a newfound sense of purpose, I embraced the promises that God had bestowed upon me. Step-by-step, He continues to unveil the unique skills and gifts that are inherently mine, empowering me to fully own and leverage them. In this transformative journey, I have discovered not only the strength within but also the divine path that leads me to the realization of my entrepreneurial aspirations.

I am a Senior Technical Writer who has rendered service to many corporate industries for over three decades. I’ve worked with Just Us Women Productions (JUWP) on special projects for several years and I bring an eye for detail to every project on which I collaborate. I believe the JUWP vision and mission of well-being are core to being a complete individual in heart, mind, and spirit. While many believe work is all about impressing, having a great sense of well-being based on Christ’s values allows for a more in-depth work ethic. I am a fun-loving, practical, serious woman of God whose beauty is revealed as you get to know me. I have been an avid soccer player since age 12 and still play today!

I’m excited to be able to add value to an innovative and dynamic organization where I can apply the theories and skills I have learned as a public relations major. I have a proven ability to turn bright ideas into reality, collaborate with a diverse team, and engage in meaningful growth by stepping outside of my comfort zone to achieve success. In my role as a Creative Specialist, I share my insight and expertise in social media marketing design, website and copy design. I lend my expertise on special projects as needed.
