Meet Tamara

Hello! I'm Tamara Wrenn and I am the proud mother of a highly spirited teenage daughter.  My pregnancy and "our labor and birth" were the catalyst for my birth work.  I am the Executive Director & Founder  of Just Us Women Productions, LLC.  I really enjoy my work and I love talking about all things birth.

Operating a boutique management consulting firm allows me to work successfully with businesses to improve services and meet deadlines through tailored strategic consulting.  With a concentration in perinatal health, women's wellness, and the maternal child health life course model the firm stays focused on its areas of expertise.

The firms core services division All Things Birth targets the informational, physical, and emotional needs of childbearing women.  Here my responsibility is to promote and inform women and their families about the normalcy of pregnancy and childbirth.  Pregnancy is not a pathology, an illness to be cured and managed, but a normal part of a woman's life cycle.  I am committed to providing comprehensive and quality services during the childbearing year evidenced by my ongoing continuing education.

In addition to my local work I travel throughout the country working with federally funded programs and community based organizations to educate/train them on increasing awareness and a working knowledge of the theory and practice of the Maternal Child Health Life Course Model, as it relates to reducing racial/ethnic disparities in infant mortality, and improving women's wellness.  My academic background includes a MA in Counseling and Guidance from New York University.
